Harbour, town centre or beach?
Around Coast Road you are nearest the harbour, restaurants and boating activity. Around the High Street you are closer to shops and the museum. The Victoria Esplanade end of town suits beach-focused visits, but a stay there is not the same as being beside the harbour.
Before you book
Check the precise location, parking, step-free access if needed, and whether food is available on site or requires a walk or drive. A property described as “Mersea” may not be within walking distance of the waterfront.
Arriving and getting around
